Saudi rules, handled in the contract

RuleWhat it means for youHow we handle it
PDPL (enforced by SDAIA)Personal data needs a lawful basis; transfers outside the Kingdom need safeguardsEngineers work inside your in-Kingdom environment where possible; otherwise Saudi standard contractual clauses and a transfer risk assessment, with no reliance on adequacy decisions
NCA ECC-2:2024Baseline cybersecurity controls, including third-party and cloud requirementsControl mapping per deliverable; in-Kingdom hosting for government data; GRC specialist on regulated squads
ZATCA Phase 2Integrated e-invoices cleared or reported through FATOORAInvoices issued by our Saudi entity in ZATCA Phase 2 format; VAT at 15% shown separately
Saudization (Nitaqat)Saudi workforce ratios for roles based in the KingdomOffshore specialists sit on our payroll outside the Kingdom, not your GOSI payroll; onsite roles are employed by our Saudi entity

LCGPA local contentLocal-content scoring in government procurementLocal-content details in the procurement pack (LCGPA certificate in progress); Saudi ratio reported per squad; BOT option

Saudization quotas for sales professions apply to roles based in the Kingdom; remote presales, pipeline and RevOps support from Cairo does not fill those seats.

Saudi Arabia: buyer questions

Yes. In Saudi Arabia, Remote Pro Ai contracts through Mohammed Ali Al Khuraim Information Systems Technology Co., the Saudi company that owns and represents the Remote Pro Ai brand in the Kingdom. It signs Saudi contracts, issues ZATCA Phase 2 e-invoices and employs onsite staff in the Kingdom. Its commercial registration and tax details are included in the procurement pack, so your team can complete vendor onboarding without chasing documents.

Where possible, engineers work inside your in-Kingdom environment, so personal data stays in Saudi Arabia. Where data must be accessed from outside the Kingdom, we use Saudi standard contractual clauses and a documented transfer risk assessment. We do not rely on adequacy decisions, and the arrangement is written into the DPA.

Remote specialists are employed by Remote Pro Ai outside the Kingdom, so they are not on your GOSI payroll and do not change your Nitaqat calculation. Onsite roles are employed through our Saudi entity. Confirm your own position with your HR advisers, especially for customer-facing sales roles, where separate Saudization quotas apply.

Yes. Our Saudi entity quotes and invoices in SAR and issues e-invoices in ZATCA Phase 2 format, with VAT at 15% on a separate line. Enterprise and government clients can pay by bank transfer on net-30 terms after a credit check; smaller squads can pay by mada or card.

Yes. Onsite and hybrid seats are available in both cities for workshops, government premises, plants and project sites. Onsite seats start within 4 working days too; where the client requires a security clearance, the 4 days count from the date it is granted. On Case P-01, 3 of 9 engineers worked onsite in Riyadh.

Yes. We support registering our Saudi entity on Etimad, and its documents are in the procurement pack, so government entities can contract with us through standard procurement. For each tender we confirm eligibility conditions, including any requirements under the Regional Headquarters programme, before submitting, so your procurement team is not surprised late in the process.

Squads share the Sunday-to-Thursday week and work aligned hours all year. During Ramadan they follow the reduced schedule you agree with your Squad Lead, typically matching your own Ramadan hours. SOC and on-call rotas continue around the clock regardless of the season.
