Choose the law that governs your contract
Pick your market. The documents switch to the matching governing law, forum, prevailing language and data annex.
| Market | Governing law | Disputes | Prevailing language | Data annex |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Saudi Arabia | Laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia | SCCA arbitration seated in Riyadh | Arabic | Saudi PDPL annex with Saudi SCCs |
| UAE | DIFC law, ADGM law or UAE federal law | DIAC arbitration (seated in the DIFC) | English (DIFC, ADGM); Arabic before onshore courts | UAE PDPL annex; DIFC or ADGM annex |
| European Union | Laws of Ireland | Irish courts | English | GDPR SCCs (Module 2) with TIA |
| United Kingdom | Laws of England and Wales | English courts | English | UK International Data Transfer Addendum |
| United States | New York law | State or federal courts in New York | English | US privacy terms, including CCPA |
| Egypt | Laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt | CRCICA arbitration, Cairo, or Egyptian courts | Arabic | Egypt PDPL annex |
Not sure? Choose the market where your contracting entity is registered.
Qatar and other markets not listed use the United Kingdom variant (laws of England and Wales, English courts).
English and Arabic, with a clear rule for conflicts
Every document exists in both languages. The contract states which one prevails if they ever differ.
Arabic versions are drafted by legal translators and reviewed by counsel, not machine-translated. For contracts governed by Saudi or Egyptian law, the Arabic text prevails. For UAE contracts heard before onshore courts, the Arabic text prevails before those courts. In every other variant, the English text prevails.
Who processes data on our behalf
The subprocessor register is part of the DPA and lives in the Trust Center, with 30 days’ notice of changes.
The register lists each subprocessor’s purpose, processing region and DPA status. Clients subscribed to updates receive 30 days’ notice before a new subprocessor processes their personal data and may object on reasonable data-protection grounds.

Yes. In the self-serve lane, engagements up to USD 25,000 a month sign the standard MSA, SOW, DPA and NDA online, with only controlled fields such as roles, dates and price filled in. Anything you want to change moves the booking to the enterprise lane for review by our legal team.
Our legal team returns a first response to redlines within 3 working days of receiving your markup through the enterprise lane. Complex custom MSAs, typically for engagements above USD 100,000 a month or for government buyers, may take further rounds; under a formal quotation, the engineers you selected stay on a 7-day bench hold.
It depends on the governing law. Arabic prevails for contracts under Saudi or Egyptian law, and before onshore UAE courts. English prevails for DIFC, ADGM, EU, UK and US variants. Both versions are reviewed by counsel so that differences should not arise in the first place.
Not without your agreement. A signed contract stays on the version you signed until both parties sign an amendment. Website documents such as the privacy notice and terms of use can change, and we post those changes here at least 30 days before they take effect unless a law requires faster change.
Yes, in the enterprise lane. Upload your NDA in the Trust Center or your MSA in the booking flow and our legal team reviews it. Using your paper adds review time, so many clients start on our standard documents, which already include the Remote Pro Ai Guarantee and a 12-month liability cap.
The subprocessor register is published in the Trust Center and forms part of the DPA. It shows each subprocessor’s purpose, region and DPA status, with a CSV download. Subscribe to updates to receive 30 days’ notice before any new subprocessor processes your personal data.
