Responsibilities
- Design and build async FastAPI or Django services with typed models and clear contracts.
- Integrate LLM APIs, RAG pipelines and vector search into product features.
- Build background jobs, queues and data pipelines with Celery and Redis.
- Implement authentication, rate limiting, token budgets and observability for every service.
- Maintain tests, type checks and CI/CD steps that keep the main branch releasable.
- Measure AI feature quality with evaluation sets and user feedback.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional Python, including production web services.
- FastAPI or Django in production, with async patterns and Pydantic models.
- PostgreSQL and Redis, with confidence in query optimisation and caching.
- Hands-on integration of at least one LLM provider SDK in a shipped feature.
- Testing with pytest, typing with mypy or Pyright, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Docker-based deployment on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
