Prototype to Production

Vibe-coded app hardening, from audit to production

A 5-day audit scores your vibe-coded app’s production readiness out of 100. A fixed-price sprint of 2–4 weeks then fixes security, auth, data rules, CI/CD and monitoring.

NDA before any access. Read-only rights, revoked when the audit ends.

In short

A 5-day audit tells you what to keep, refactor or rewrite. A fixed-price sprint then makes it safe for paying users.

Prototype → Production is the Remote Pro Ai vibe-coded app hardening service for apps built with Lovable, Bolt, Replit or Cursor. A 5-day audit scores your app’s production readiness out of 100 and maps what to keep, refactor or rewrite. A fixed-price sprint of 2–4 weeks then fixes security, authentication, database rules, CI/CD and monitoring.

9 signs your AI-built app needs hardening

AI builders get you to a working product in days. They rarely add the controls that real users, pilot customers and investors check for. If 3 or more of these signs apply, your app is carrying risk you cannot see from the interface.

  • API keys or service-role keys are visible in the browser bundle.
  • Supabase or Firebase tables have no row-level security policies.
  • Role checks happen only in the UI, not on the server.
  • Changes go straight from the builder to production; there is no staging.
  • No automated tests, so every new prompt can break an old flow.
  • No error tracking or uptime alerts; users report outages before you see them.
  • Database changes are made by hand and backups have never been restored.
  • Cloud costs climb faster than users: unbounded queries, no caching, no rate limits.
  • A pilot customer or investor has asked for a security review.

Who it is for

Pre-seed and seed founders with first users, a corporate pilot, payments or personal data in the app. It also suits product teams inside larger companies that built an internal tool with Cursor and now need it supported properly.

The 5-day audit, day by day

A Lead-level tech lead and a Senior security engineer run the audit. After the NDA you connect a read-only GitHub App to one repository and share a read-only database role; we need 30 minutes of your time on day 1. Any critical finding reaches you the same day by WhatsApp and email, not on day 5.

1Architecture and codeCode map, code quality, dependencies, environments, hosting, third-party services
2SecuritySecrets, authentication, server-side authorisation, OWASP Top 10, dependency CVEs
3DataSchema, row-level security, personal data map, backups, migrations
4Performance and costQuery plans, bundle size, caching, a light load test, cost drivers

What the audit report contains

  • A 1-page executive summary that a non-technical investor can read.
  • Every finding with severity, evidence and fix effort in hours.
  • A production-readiness score out of 100, with the scoring method explained.
  • A keep / refactor / rewrite map for each module.
  • A fixed-price hardening sprint proposal you can accept in Client OS.

Vibe-coded app hardening sprint: 2–4 weeks, paid by milestone

The sprint is sized from the audit. The tech lead who ran it stays on, with a Senior full-stack engineer, a security engineer and shared DevOps support. Write access runs through the same GitHub App, every pull request links to a finding, and a re-scan after each milestone shows your score moving.

  • How the sprint runs

    • Milestone 1, week 1: critical findings, secrets, authentication and row-level security.
    • Milestone 2, weeks 2–4: environments, CI/CD, tests, monitoring, performance and backups.
    • Each milestone has written acceptance criteria and is paid only on acceptance.
    • Daily summary in Client OS; staging deploys you can test yourself.
  • Can you keep building with your AI tool?

Yes. We add guardrails that make it safe: a protected main branch, a required review on every pull request, and tests that stop AI-generated regressions reaching production.

  • Prefer to fix it yourself?

Keep the report and fix it in-house. You get 2 free re-check scans within 30 days to confirm the fixes, and you can add Fractional CTO hours if your team wants a senior reviewer on call.

The production security and scale checklist we close

Audit and hardening prices

The 5-day audit is a fixed fee from USD 2,700. The hardening sprint is fixed in the day-5 report, from USD 7,600, and paid in 2 milestones, each invoiced only on your acceptance. Book the sprint within 30 days of the audit and the audit fee is credited against it in full. Both run in the self-serve lane: card, mada or Apple Pay, a click-through MSA and an audit SOW with mutual confidentiality.

  • What shapes your quotation

    • Data types: payments, health or other personal data raise the control set.
    • Your target load: 500 users and 50,000 users need different work.
    • Codebase size and the number of services or edge functions.
    • Integrations such as payment gateways, identity providers and webhooks.
    • Compliance targets such as PDPL, GDPR or a pilot customer’s questionnaire.
  • Guarantee

Companies in an accelerator or VC programme get the 5-day audit free through the ميزة البرنامج: its USD 2,700 credit covers the audit fee in full.

    • A written report on day 5 of the audit.
    • Read-only access during the audit, revoked automatically at the end.
    • Sprint milestones invoiced only on your acceptance.
    • Fixes covered by a 60-day warranty after go-live, the same warranty as every Project Engagement.
    • IP for every change assigned to you on payment.

What changes between audit day and go-live

Illustrative scenario, not a client’s results: a Lovable and Supabase app with about 800 users and card payments. The audit report shows which of these changes apply to your app.

Frequently asked questions

Book a scoping call

20 minutes with a solutions architect. No sales script.

We audit apps built with Lovable, Bolt, Replit, Cursor, v0 and similar tools, most often on React or Next.js with Supabase, Firebase or Postgres, hosted on Vercel, Netlify or a major cloud. If your stack is different, the Scope Agent checks it before you pay, and a senior engineer confirms whether the 5-day scope still applies.

No. The audit uses a read-only GitHub App on 1 repository and a read-only database role. Nothing is changed and no data leaves your environment. Access revokes automatically when the audit ends. Write access is granted only if you accept the hardening sprint, and it runs through the same audited app.

Rarely. The report gives a keep, refactor or rewrite verdict for each module, with effort in hours, and in most AI-built apps the majority of the code is worth keeping. We recommend a rewrite only where a module cannot be secured or scaled at a reasonable cost, and we show the evidence for that call.

Most apps go from audit kickoff to production in 3 to 5 weeks: 5 working days for the audit, then a 2–4-week hardening sprint. Critical issues such as exposed keys are fixed or contained in the first week of the sprint, and you can share the audit report with a pilot customer before the sprint ends.

Yes. Your developer joins the repository and the daily summary, and reviews our pull requests if you wish. Many founders use the sprint to train their first hire on the new pipeline, tests and runbooks. The handover pack documents every control we add, so your team can maintain it after we leave.

You own a hardened codebase, a CI/CD pipeline and monitoring, plus a re-scan showing your new score. Many founders then keep 2 or 3 of the same engineers as a Dedicated Pod to build features on the safer base. Others add Fractional CTO hours for investor due diligence, or continue with their own team.

It is a strong start. The report gives evidence-based findings, a scoring method and a remediation record that technical due diligence teams recognise. For a formal penetration test or a compliance attestation, such as SOC 2 readiness, we scope that work separately with our cybersecurity practice and quote it in the same Client OS workspace.
