About the client and the team

The bank is moving customer-facing workloads to an in-Kingdom cloud region under SAMA and NCA ECC controls. You would join a squad of 5 with a Security Architect and 2 DevSecOps engineers. The client’s name is shared once you and the client accept the NDA.

Core stack: AWS, Azure, GCP, Wiz, Prisma Cloud.

What you’ll do

  • Designs secure landing zones, network segmentation and identity boundaries
  • Implements CSPM / CNAPP, workload protection and Kubernetes security
  • Automates guardrails as code (policy-as-code, IaC scanning)
  • Hardens data residency, encryption and key management for regulated data
  • Leads cloud incident response and forensics readiness

Must have

  • 4+ years in security engineering, with hands-on AWS, Azure or GCP security.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud identity, networking and logging on at least one hyperscaler.
  • Hands-on with Wiz, Prisma Cloud, Defender for Cloud or a comparable platform.
  • Terraform and policy-as-code experience with OPA or similar.

Nice to have

  • CCSP, AWS Security Specialty or AZ-500 certification.
  • Secrets management with HashiCorp Vault.

Rate range and engagement length

  • Rate: USD 4,200–⁠5,000 per month, paid on the 5th of each month.
  • Length: 6 months, with extension likely if the project continues.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
  • Payouts through Deel or Remote.com, to a bank account in USD, EGP, SAR or AED.

Time zone and location

  • Overlap: 6 hours with KSA working hours (GMT+3).
  • Work mode: Remote.
